"Organically farmed mature vineyard in an isolated location
north of Yamhill, Oregon in the Yamhill-Carlton District AVA.
Distinctive earthy aromas, with tobacco and coffee flavors. A
nicely balanced blend of Pommard and Wadenswil clones. About
33% new French oak. Less than 100 cases available."
Winery Notes
"The 2006 Pinot Noir Bishop Creek Vineyard has a similar elegant
style but with more grip and concentration. Drink it over the next
five years.
Jim Seufert’s first vintage was 2005 and in 2007 he started a
winery. The wines are made from contracted fruit from some very
fine growers."
