Blended by our own Boris Wiedenfeld. 90 points Robert
Parker. A real killer. Drink one now and cellar the
rest for a couple more years. This wine is kind of in middle
between the Stewart and Athena as far as extraction is
concerned.

The 2008 Pinot Noir Boris is
a multi-regional blend made mostly from Dijon clones. Aromas of
pepper, blueberry, black cherry, and black raspberry lead to a
dense, medium-bodied, chewy Pinot with enough structure to evolve
for 1-2 years and plenty of savory fruit. Drink it from 2012 to
2020.
Boedecker Cellars is the winery of husband/wife team Athena Pappas
and Stewart Boedecker. The wines are all produced from contracted
fruit and bottled in Stelvin screw caps in their new winery in an
industrial section of Portland. Many of their wines are held back
for an additional year of bottle aging.
