"A blend of Pommard with some Wadenswill clones planted in 1998.
A cinnamon color with rich currant aromas. It is predominately
blackberry and raspberry when it enters the palate with some hint
of currant flavor. A soft silky feel on the roof of your mouth with
an elusive finish of violet. This wine really opens up and would
make a great addition to your cellar. The 2007 vintage has a
lighter color and a more subtle complexity than our 2005 Pinot
Noir. This should make it exciting to explore pairing possibilities
outside the norm.
Pinot Noir is a great dinner wine with lamb, fish, pasta, and
our favorite...Salmon. The recipe for Rod's “secret” salmon
marinade is included with all Pinot Noir orders."
