Vivid
red. Black raspberry and cherry on the nose, with
complicating notes of anise, black tea and herbs. Smooth and
sweet in the mouth, with concentrated dark berry preserve and
bitter cherry flavors showing excellent clarity. Closes firm
and bright, with dusty tannins adding shape to the impressively
persistent, sappy finish. This deserves some bottle age.
