"Vivid red. Sexy aromas of red berry preserves, potpourri and blood
orange. Light in body but deep in flavor, offering sweet red and
dark berry flavors and good back-end lift. Spreads out nicely on
the finish, which is impressively clean and very persistent."

The 2007 Pinot Noir Estate
Reserve spent 11 months in 17% new French oak. It reveals a more
expressive aromatic array of cedar, spice box, mineral, and
assorted red fruits. More concentrated and structured than the
preceding wines, it has plenty of savory fruit, ripe tannin,
lively, well-integrated acidity, and a lengthy, pure finish. It
offers a drinking window extending from 2011 to 2019.
Nick and Sheila Nicholas reside at the vineyard and do most of the
labor themselves. This is their second vintage of Pinot Noir and
every wine has been outstanding to date. |
