"The 2008 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills was produced entirely from estate fruit and was aged for 9 months in 30% new oak. Dark ruby red, it gives up a charming perfume of smoke, Asian spices, incense, and an amalgam of red and black fruits. Sweetly fruited and plush on the mid-palate with incipient complexity, this elegant effort has enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years and will deliver considerable pleasure from 2012 to 2020.

Dr. Madaiah Revana, the proprietor of Alexana Winery, employs veteran vigneron Lynn Penner-Ash as his winemaker."
